natural + frugal = at-home facial
Earlier this week I tried an easy at-home facial I had recently read about. All it takes is a tablespoon of fresh lemon juice and a tablespoon of baking soda. You probably have that in your kitchen right now. Mix them together until it begins to fizz then apply to your face. Leave it on until it dries — 20 minutes should do — then rinse and moisturize. The alpha hydroxy acids in the lemon juice act as a natural exfoliate and the acidity of the the baking soda gently removes dead skin cells.
