I have been a longtime fan of the work on Manimal, the creation of designer Kristen Lombardi of Brooklyn, New York. She recycles and reworks her materials to create these hand made creations inspired by the crafts of the American Southwest. I don't know if it was watching Clan of the Cave Bear as a child or what but I'm a girl that loves a moccasin.
